Fan~ta~bulous FRIDAY

The BEST climbing trees can be found in Durham at Duke Gardens!!! I grew up 2 blocks from the gardens and spent many days there. I remember when I was younger those old magnolias looked HUGE. But their swooping branches are stair steps up into the unknown. Unfortuately, all that climbing may have damaged them and they now have signs up requesting that you refrain from climbing. I understand....but a part of me wishes my daughter could experience the freedom and mystery of climbing those majestic trees.

Saw you were following my blog now and I just wanted to stop by and say hello and welcome!!

I grew up in Georgia and man do I miss the Magnolia trees. I tried growing one here in Oklahoma last year and sadly, it did not make it.
